“I don’t know, I think that this kind of email-based personal writing is like whispering when you’re the last two people left awake at a sleepover and you get to say the things you’d never say in a daylight conversation, one that actually counts. Anyway, if you subscribe, you can email me about any of the letters and we can chat like we’re the last two people awake and telling secrets.”
- Helena Fitzgerald on her sub stack, Grief Bacon.

FAQ

How can I read a subscriber update?

You can read a subscriber-only update in email, or on the website. If you click through from your email you will be automatically logged in. If you come to the website separately, you can log in through the Membership page.

How much does it cost?

$5/month or $30/yearly. I understand if this isn’t affordable, and if you truly cannot afford this, but would like to read my work contact me personally: mikaylaliston@outlook.com. Paying artists for their work is something I have always believed in and am going to give this a shot.

What do I get when I subscribe?

Weekly content (often more than once a week) of raw, open content from a writer that you want to support. I will be talking about everything from life as a twenty year old, to heartbreak, to why Mark wrote his Gospel and why Paul didn’t write all of his letters. It’s access to a series of weekly personal essays that allow you to have an intimate look into my life and my life as a writer. And when you subscribe you are allowed to reach out to me wherever, whenever and we can laugh, cry, and talk about all the things that makes life crazy, beautiful, and scary.

Can I forward the emails?

When it comes to the free posts, spread them as far and as wide as you like, on whatever platform you currently prefer. Occasionally forwarding subscribers-only emails is just fine too.
